At this year’s Canadian Online Publishing Awards, Black on the Ballot received a gold medal for Best Podcast (Academic). In addition, Episode 1, featuring Angela Simmonds, received a gold medal for Best Multicultural Story. Now in their 17th year, the COPAs are Canada’s pre-eminent recognition of digital publishing. CBC, Toronto Star, and Postmedia also took home awards.
